Look upon my sufferings

 

My child,

 

Do not be sad. I want you to be completely with me now. It is Lent, a time when it is important to look upon my sufferings and give everything to me. Everything—your joys, but also your sufferings and your imperfections. I will be able to transform everything. One day you will see this in heaven.

 

I love being with you and speaking with you. Turn away from your sufferings and look upon me on the cross. Child, I did all this for you. That is why I am glad every time you venerate my cross. Never grow weary of honoring me with the sign of the cross.

Especially when driving or walking past a wayside cross, I try to make the sign of the cross.
